About

When you go to an interview, the typical question is like, “tell us about yourself”. Cliche, doesn’t it? But that’s the starting point to sell yourself.

I am a Banker, and to differentiate myself with other types of Bankers, I only do Corporate Banking things, like Syndication, Trade Finance, Commodity Finance, Asset Backed Finance, and selling Derivatives during its heyday (around 2006-2008, before it was banned by the Central Bank).

I started as a Trainee in an International Bank, stationed in Indonesia for several years and I’ve been in 3 International Banks as of today. I am trained in Credit Risk, Equity Capital Market, Debt Capital Market, and Derivatives. I am grateful that my previous employers and bosses were very supportive and allowed me to develop my career further.

Okay, that’s the boring thing about my side job. What are my main jobs? Making friends, expanding my network. The other one is travelling. Those are my main jobs.

I am recently attracted to photography, bad influence from my blogging friend, Toni Wahid. As of June 2010, I’ve been pressing shutters for 8 months. I consider myself as a serious amateur, no intention for being professional as of yet. Photography has brought me to a new world and a lot of new friends – and girls, aside from emptying my wallet. But hell with that, photography is good when you’re single and bad when you’re married.
